Enford House Cottage is the perfect place for a relaxing break and a holiday in Wiltshire. Offering unique and comfortable self-catering accommodation, it provides an excellent base for exploring numerous places of interest, including Salisbury Cathedral, Stonehenge, Avebury, Bath, and Longleat. Situated within a beautiful thatched-walled garden, the setting is ideal for those who want to unwind, take scenic walks, visit nearby village pubs, or enjoy a game of table tennis in the on-site games room.

The cottage is both child and pet-friendly, enclosed by a thatched wall with a gated entrance for added security. As a semi-detached wing of a Grade II listed 18th-century vicarage, Enford House Cottage offers a welcoming home-away-from-home experience. It is equipped to a high standard and accommodates between two to six guests, plus a cot, across three double bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bath or shower room. Two bedrooms are located upstairs, while the third is on the ground floor.

The first floor features a master bedroom with a king-size double bed, which can be converted into twin beds upon request. An extra single bed or travel cot can also be provided if needed. The ensuite bathroom ensures privacy and comfort. The second upstairs bedroom has a 4ft 6” double bed and an ensuite shower room. The ground-floor bedroom is a twin room with an ensuite shower room, making it a convenient option for those who prefer to avoid stairs. All bedrooms include a TV with Freeview and DVD, high-quality bed linen and towels, central heating and picturesque views over the surrounding water meadows and walled garden.

The sitting room is a cosy and inviting space, furnished with two large sofas, an armchair, a coffee table and warm lighting. A TV with a DVD player is available for entertainment and a toy cupboard is stocked with books, toys, and games for young children. The kitchen and dining room are fully equipped with a dining table that comfortably seats six, a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven, hob, grill, fridge freezer and iPod speakers. A high chair can be provided upon request. The tumble dryer is located upstairs. A door from the dining area leads to a south-facing patio, where guests can enjoy meals outdoors at a table with six chairs and a barbecue.

The walled garden is open for guests to enjoy, providing a safe and spacious outdoor area. As a family-friendly space, it features a swing and slide for children, along with a washing line for guests to use. A charming door within the thatched wall provides direct access to the churchyard next door, making it the starting point for many scenic walks. There is parking for three cars.

Enford is a picturesque village in the Avon Valley, which runs through the heart of Salisbury Plain. The vast plateau of Salisbury Plain, covering approximately 300 square miles, is home to Stonehenge and offers a landscape rich in history and natural beauty. The surrounding countryside is perfect for walking and cycling, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in the tranquil rural setting.

The location is ideal for exploring some of England’s most renowned sites. Nearby attractions include Stonehenge and Avebury’s World Heritage-listed stone circles, Salisbury Cathedral, Old Sarum, and the medieval cities of Salisbury and Wilton. The historic market towns of Devizes, Pewsey, and Marlborough are within easy reach, as are the Kennet and Avon Canal, Longleat House and Safari Park, the city of Bath, the National Trust village of Lacock, and the beautifully landscaped gardens of Stourhead.
