The cottage features a shower room with a toilet, a separate bathroom with toilet facilities, a master bedroom, a double bedroom, a twin room and a single room, accommodating up to seven people.

The croft provides access to a small bay, where a colony of seals can be observed year-round. Guests have also spotted wild otters crossing the croft to the shore.

Hamarsay House serves as an excellent base for exploring the surrounding hillsides and shorelines, offering stunning views of small uninhabited islands and local wildlife.

Nearby amenities include hotels in Tarbert, about a 10-minute drive away, and shops just a few minutes' walk from the property. Guests are encouraged to dine at the renowned North Harbour Bistro in Scalpay, a short drive away, known for its award-winning cuisine and seafood. Mobile grocery and butcher shops can stop by upon request, and logs and kindling are available at Munro's shop in Tarbert.

Pets are welcome by arrangement for an additional charge of £10 per pet and they are expected to be kept under control. The cottage also offers cycle hire if needed.
