Why not come and stay at An Tigh Earna, a recently built house situated in the beautiful crofting village of Scourie. It stands in its own grounds, with delightful views out over the Atlantic Ocean, and has been awarded Four Stars by the Scottish Tourist Board.

The house is fully equipped with all modern amenities, including electric night-storage central-heating throughout, and is furnished to a high standard

Accommodation:

On the Ground Floor:

Porch, living room with real coal fire, TV, video and CD player. It has a fully fitted kitchen with microwave, fridge and dishwasher.

The utility room has a washing machine, tumble dryer and a freezer. There is also a pay telephone. Bathroom with shower over the bath. Dining-room with seating for 6 and with views over the village to the sea; Bedroom with King-size bed, Wardrobe, dresser, and hair-drier.

On the First Floor:

Bedroom with Twin beds, wardrobe and dresser portable TV and hair-drier.

Linen is provided, but if you wish to bring your own linen, there will be a reduction in the price of £25.

Towels can be supplied at an additional charge.

A cot is available if required. There is no charge for electricity, and the fire will be set for your arrival. Extra Coal is available for purchase at the village shop. There is ample car-parking space.

Local Amenities:

In the village there is a SPAR Supermarket, which is also an Off-Licence. The Post Office is also housed in this shop.

In Scourie, both The Scourie Hotel and the Eddrachilles Hotel supply bar lunches and evening meals throughout the Summer season (which runs from April to September), whilst outside the village on the road to Kinlochbervie there is The Ricconich Hotel.and the Kylseku Hotel on the road south serving meals to non-residents.

There is a restaurant in the local campsite, which is open to all during the season, and in Tarbet there is a seafood restaurant offering both snacks and full meals. In Scourie there are three Churches; Church of Scotland, Free Church and Free Presbyterian. There is a Catholic Church in Ullapool, and Catholic services are held in Lochinver during the months of July and August.
