For fishing enthusiasts, Burton Springs offers three well-stocked lakes right on-site: one for coarse fishing, one for carp fishing and one dedicated to catfish. Non-fishers can still enjoy abundant wildlife, scenic walks and quiet corners to relax with a good book.

At Burton Springs, we offer a variety of camping options to suit every preference. Our glamping pods provide a cosy, home-like experience, while Lotus Belle Tents offer the perfect setting for a romantic escape or family adventure. For those bringing their own caravan, campervan, or motorhome, we have a purpose-built camping field with electric hook-ups, ideal for a comfortable stay.

Caravans & Motorhomes

We have 13 hardstanding and 4 grass pitches with electric hook-ups, just a stone’s throw from the lakes and all amenities. The site also offers chemical waste disposal, a small shop with essential supplies and firepits or BBQs for rent.

Tents

Our camping field accommodates 8 tents, each with an 8m by 8m pitch. Seven of these pitches have optional electric hook-ups and all are located near Kingfisher Lake and the main facilities. You can park one car next to your tent, weather permitting and there’s a play area for kids along with picnic benches for convenience.

Belle Tents

Experience luxury camping in one of our Lotus Belle Tents. The Stargazer is perfect for couples, while the standard model sleeps up to 4. These tents come with porches, seating areas, power and USB chargers, offering a comfortable stay in the heart of nature.

Glamping Pods

Our three Glamping Pods, Quantock View, Lakeside View and Bayley’s Rest are perfectly situated for exploring the Quantock Hills and nearby beaches. Two pods are located by Alder Pool and Kingfisher Lake, ideal for those who enjoy fishing. Each pod comes with a firepit, grill, seating area, TV/DVD player, double bed with extra fold-out singles, heating and lights. Guests will need to bring their own bedding, towels and cooking utensils.

On-site, you’ll find a shop selling drinks, snacks and basic supplies like tea bags and toothbrushes, as well as local produce when available. Our shower and toilet facilities include 8 private family-sized cubicles and a fully wheelchair-accessible unit. For entertainment, the 24-hour games room offers table football, air hockey, a book exchange and a collection of classic DVDs. There’s also a communal fridge/freezer, microwave and kettle for guests to use. Outside, our woodchipped playground is perfect for keeping younger guests entertained.

We’re proud to be a dog-friendly site, complete with a dog shower and off-lead paddock area featuring agility equipment and a summer paddling pool. There are plenty of fantastic walking trails nearby for you and your dog to enjoy.
