Meadow Cottage is a newly constructed, ecologically friendly timber cottage that accommodates seven guests in three spacious bedrooms.

The cottage features three bedrooms: upstairs, you'll find Bedroom 1 with a king bed, lounge area and balcony and Bedroom 2 with a double bed and single bed, complete with a TV/DVD and toys. Downstairs, Bedroom 3 offers a double bed, accommodating a total of seven guests.

The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher. Essential staples are provided to ensure your stay is comfortable. Solar hot water with electric backup and power sourced from a 100% renewable energy supplier ensure an eco-friendly experience.

The open-plan living area features a wood burner with a wood supply, providing a cosy atmosphere. Radiators are installed in every room for additional comfort. For entertainment, there is satellite TV, a DVD player, books, maps and games. Bedding, linen and towels are included and a travel cot and highchair are available for families with young children.

The cottage has an upstairs bathroom and good accessibility, with the living room, kitchen, toilet, shower and one double bedroom located downstairs. Disabled access is available from the parking area and WiFi is provided throughout the property.

The owners live just a mile down the road and are on hand for any help and advice.

Guests can harvest fresh fruit, vegetables, and cut flowers from the nearby kitchen garden.

We also have a shepherd's hut available that comfortably sleeps 2 adults.

A network of footpaths extends from the front door, some connecting to the renowned Offa's Dyke Path, one of the world's top 10 wall walks according to Lonely Planet. Presteigne, the nearest town, is a twenty-minute walk or a two-minute drive away, featuring independent shops, pubs and cafes. Nearby market towns, including Hay-on-Wye and Ludlow, are great to visit, with regular markets and annual events such as food, literature and medieval festivals.

Up to two dogs are welcome to join you during your stay, £20 per pet, per stay.
