Glanusk Estate offers outstanding self catering accommodation in Crickhowell. Located in rolling countryside in the Usk Valley in Powys, we are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.

Garden Cottage (sleeps 4): This beautiful private cottage is the original estate gardener’s cottage, set within the original walled garden and close to the privately-owned stretch of the River Usk. The ground level cottage comes with a contemporary kitchen made by one of the craftsmen on the estate and comes equipped with a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, electric cooker with ceramic hob, washing machine, dryer and microwave oven. A cosy sitting comes with a flat-screen TV with Freeview, DVD player and a wood burner to keep you toasty. A double and twin room are available. Both rooms share a bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Glanusk Lodge (sleeps 12): Set amongst gorgeous landscaped gardens, it is next to the original mansion which was demolished in 1956. It boasts some of the best views of the estate and the area. The property is spacious, light and perfect for a special holiday. An elegant drawing room has comfy sofas and open views. French doors open onto a delightful paved terrace and tiered lawns. Ideal spots for a coffee in the morning sun.

The dining room has a large table for up to 16 people and French doors open onto the terrace. A fully equipped kitchen comes with a double electric cooker with ceramic hob, microwave oven, dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer. The lodge comes with 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Three of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and four are upstairs.

The Tower (sleeps 2): Our magical and unique Grade II Listed tower has been sympathetically renovated by local Welsh craftsmen. The tower is ideal for a romantic wedding night, anniversary, proposal or special treat. 38 wining steps lead to the gorgeous holiday space which has been luxuriously furnished. The property comes with a wonderful bedroom, a modern bathroom, cosy sitting room and immaculate kitchen. The elevated setting allows you to savour views of the river and stunning mountain range.
