Mhor 84 in Balquhidder is a motel, restaurant bar and café, the perfect stop off on the A84 road to the Highlands. We are close to Lochearnhead and nestled in glorious countryside, great for an unforgettable holiday in Perthshire.

We offer our guests luxury boutique-style rooms that are suitable for all travellers. We’ve got doubles, twins, a family room, a cottage out the back, and detached Outback rooms, too. Each one is a bit different, all with a groovy dash of retro colour. They’re cosy and comfortable with en suites and TV’s.

We serve food all day from 8 am - - 9 pm, for motel guests, walkers, joggers, cyclists, the odd pet dog, and everyone else, too. There’s always something good to eat at Mhor 84. We source a lot of our food from our own farm at Monachyle Mhor. Breakfasts come in all shapes and sizes, including the Big Breakfast, our fabled eggs benedict, or a simple flat white with Mhor Bread sourdough toast and homemade jam. Lunches include stonking soups, homemade bread, Scottish steaks, and gourmet burgers, as well as bowls of mussels, or seafood chowder, or a few choice loch oysters, and plenty of sumptuous salads from 12-5 pm. From noon until 9 pm, additional specials are added to the menu.

Our hotel is perfect for those who want to explore the Scottish Highlands. We are easy to find as we are on the A84 road and we welcome everyone; walkers, cyclists, joggers, dogs and locals. Come and stay, or meet, eat and enjoy a bun, a dram, breakfast, beer, a gourmet meal, or simply a decent flat white and a tasty wedge of cake. Those who like to spend time outside will never be short of things to do; Swim or paddle in the loch, bag a munro – there are 5 on our doorstep. Alternately why not rent a bike and pedal up Cycle Route 7, you can forage for fun, fungi or fauna or simply relax and enjoy the stunning countryside.
