The Blue Lion offers wonderful food, drink and accommodation in East Witton near Leyburn. Our pub in North Yorkshire is surrounded by the majesty of the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Our beautiful 18th Century inn encapsulates the best aspects of traditional rural England. This inn retains its traditional character whilst offering modern accommodation. We have 15 English style bedrooms to choose from. Each room is individual and the rooms are dog friendly. The rooms are split between the main house and the converted stables. Some of the rooms have exposed beams and all the rooms has either en suite bathrooms and a shower room. Each room comes with tea and coffee making facilities. We offer petite doubles, classic doubles, large classic and courtyard superior rooms to choose from. The latter rooms are truly indulgent and come with king size beds and large bathrooms.

At the Blue Lion we offer a sumptuous dining experience in a beautiful setting. The restaurant includes a mixture of traditional wooden furniture, classically decorated picture clad walls and superb wine list. Our seasonal menu sources the best Yorkshire produce available and have won the Dining Pub of the Year Award 3 times. You can unwind after a busy day exploring the area at our real ale bar. Here you will find a roaring log fire, large sofas and oak tables. The Blue Lion is renowned for a fantastic range of hand pulled unique guest ales to the more recognisable names from the Black Sheep Brewery from nearby Masham.
