Originally constructed in 1834 as a fisherman’s and Pier Commissioner’s residence, Maynard House features a distinctive first-floor bay window offering panoramic sea views, characteristic of historic townhouses.

Perfect for families, the house boasts a spacious kitchen, two comfortable sitting rooms, two fully equipped bathrooms and accommodation for up to 8 guests.

Recently renovated, Maynard House provides modern comforts such as gas-fired central heating and cosy seating in two rooms.

On the ground floor, you'll find a welcoming hallway, a spacious living room, and a large kitchen equipped with essential appliances.

The first floor hosts a generously sized sitting room with a bay window overlooking the sea, complete with entertainment amenities like TV, DVD, Hi-fi, and video. Additionally, there are two fully fitted bathrooms and a double bedroom with a washbasin.

The second floor comprises a double bedroom and two bedrooms each with bunk beds.

Cromer, perched atop a cliff overlooking Norfolk's sandy beaches, is renowned for its fresh crabs and abundant seafood offerings. Families will appreciate the convenience of having the beach, pier, and town amenities within walking distance.

Within a 30-minute drive, Cromer offers access to Norwich, the Broads, and the diverse landscapes of the North Norfolk coast, including saltmarshes and sand dunes. Holiday activities abound, from exploring historic homes and market towns to boating on the Broads, seal-watching boat trips, coastal walks, birdwatching, golfing, and cycling along scenic routes. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a leisurely ride on the steam train between Holt and Sheringham or hop on the coastal hopper bus or Bittern Line train for a scenic journey through the Broads to Norwich.
