Baconsthorpe Meadows in Baconsthorpe is nestled on a charming family-run farm, based in gorgeous countryside. Based near Holt in a tranquil area of Norfolk, we are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.

Our scenic campsite is a haven for nature lovers looking for somewhere relaxing to stay, surrounded by picturesque countryside. We have 7 acres to pitch 63 tents and 6 camping pods. We are a tent only campsite - no caravans, campervans or motor homes. Excellent onsite facilities include:

For those that fancy an alternative to the traditional camping experience, you can stay in our cosy camping pods (not pet friendly). Three of the pods are on the orchard and 3 are on the campsite. The pods sleep 2 people in a double or twin beds. All the pods come with a bed, mattress, small fridge, kettle, toaster, two chairs, heater, charging point and picnic table.

The delightful village of Baconsthorpe is only 3 miles from Holt and 5 miles from Sheringham and the sea. You can visit the wonderful ruins of Baconsthorpe Castle or visit the pretty Georgian market town of Holt, home to boutiques, antique shops, coffee shops and galleries. You can also visit the beautiful coastal town of Sheringham and walk along the fantastic promenade. Further attractions to visit include:
