Cley Windmill - Boat House & Dovecote offers outstanding accommodation in Cley next the Sea. Based near Holt in a peaceful setting, we are ideal for an idyllic break in Norfolk.

Dovecote:

This accommodation was originally the stables at windmill but has now been beautifully converted to offer high-quality facilities. The cottage is great for a tranquil retreat and is brimming with original character. The property sleeps up to 4 people, includes en suite facilities and boasts outstanding views of the mill. Outside there is a walled garden to unwind in when the sun is shining.

Boat House:

This en suite accommodation sleeps 2 people and enjoys views over the mill, great for a romantic getaway. Inside there is a double bedroom with a magnificent vaulted wooden ceiling and sumptuously cushioned king-size four-poster bed from Indigo furniture. You can relax on the armchair with a morning coffee and the accommodation is furnished with cushions, oriental rugs and a flat-screen TV. A glazed stable door opens onto the courtyard which enjoys views of the Mill.

We have a restaurant that is open Wednesday lunchtime and Thursday, Friday and Saturday for evening meals.

The village of Cley next the Sea is set on the doorstep of a nature reserve in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, perfect for scenic coastal walks. The Cley Marshes nature reserve offers some of the finest birdwatching in the country and the area is also renowned for fantastic cycle routes. The historic Georgian town of Holt is nearby and home to art galleries, antiques and book shops, plus great restaurants. Attractions to visit include:
