Running Hare Barn is nestled just outside of East Ruston and offers wonderful self catering accommodation in a rural location. The barn boasts stunning countryside views and is perfect for an idyllic break in Norfolk.

Our old threshing barn has been beautifully converted to offer exceptional accommodation. The spacious barn sleeps up to 10 people and still maintains many original features.

Along one side of the open plan area is a fully equipped oak-built kitchen with a Rangemaster electric range with a double oven, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven and full-size American style fridge freezer. On the other side of the room is a gorgeous wooden table which sits up to 16 people on two large oak church pews.

We replaced the original threshing door with large glass windows to create a light-filled atrium. The open plan atrium extends up through the building to the beamed roof at the top to create a truly unique space. A comfy sofa and armchairs are perfect for relaxing on and French doors open onto the paved yard. On the first floor is a sitting room with sofas and an impressive 65’’ curved screen smart TV/DVD and home theatre system. From here you can also admire stunning views over the fields.

Five lovely bedrooms are available. Bedroom 1 is on the ground floor and comes with a king-size bed and large en suite bathroom with a double end roll top bath and separate shower. On the ground floor, there is also another bedroom with a king-size bed with en suite facilities. The third floor has a spacious master bedroom with a super-king zip and link bed and en suite shower room. Two further bedrooms are available on the mezzanine floor: a king and a room with two small doubles. Both rooms have a privacy curtain and share a family bathroom.

Outside there is a fully enclosed garden to the front of the barn and a spacious paved area. A table and chairs are provided, ideal for a morning coffee whilst the sun is shining. A BBQ is also available.

We are dog friendly and offer lots of doggie paraphernalia: throws, dog towels, beds and bowls etc. There is also a covered area under the eaves of the barn which has a dog shower.
