The Wild Hare is a gorgeous countryside inn based in the quaint village of Tintern. Our inn near Chepstow in Monmouthshire is the perfect place to escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Our charming inn has 7 dog friendly bedrooms available, nestled in the main house and the garden rooms. All the rooms enjoy an individual design and character, perfect for an unforgettable getaway. All the rooms also include our fabulous 100 Acres products.

Lovely Rooms:

These rooms are on the ground floor of our garden rooms, with all opening onto our wildflower garden. They include a double and a single bed, plus walk-in showers.

Fabulous Rooms:

These rooms are on the ground floor of our exterior garden rooms and include a large super-king size bed and bath with overhead shower.

Wonderful Rooms:

These bedrooms offer a country feel and are perfect for a special getaway. The rooms boast spacious walk-in showers and one of the rooms has a stand-alone bath. The rooms are based in the main building and offer tall ceilings and plenty of character.

Luxury Rooms:

Our superb rooms offer the ultimate in luxury. Enjoy a morning coffee on the balcony which enjoys glorious views over the gardens. The rooms include walk-in showers, super-king beds and coffee machines serving Costa Coffee.

Suites:

These stunning suites are finished to the highest standard to offer plenty of comfort and relaxation. They come with a beautiful modern kitchen, spacious living area (with a sofa bed) and a lavish bedroom and modern en suite. The main bedroom includes a lavish four-poster room.

Savour some delicious food in our delightful pub, with superb, locally sourced seasonal menus on offer. You can enjoy a local beer on the comfy sofas in front of the toasty log burner, with four-legged friends welcome. We also have a coffee house, great for a baguette or an indulgent homemade cake.

Right on our doorstep is the majestic Tintern Abbey, whilst the renowned Symmonds Yat is a short drive away. The area has lots of scenic walks and cycle routes, whilst further afield there are a range of attractions to see, including:
