Great Prawls Farm offers self catering accommodation at Tamworth Cottage in Stone-in-Oxney, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Our cottage near Tenterden in Kent has stunning views over the Rother Valley. We are a rural paradise, with scenic and farm walks to enjoy and clear sunsets to savour.

Tamworth Cottage is a beautifully converted property that blends antique beams and a vaulted ceiling with bright, spacious accommodation full of character and cosy country charm.

The triple aspect lounge is the heart of the home, offering a relaxing space with extensive views over the valley and a warm, welcoming atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing or simply enjoying a peaceful escape. The open-plan kitchen and dining area features a formal dining table and a fully equipped modern kitchen, including a gas cooker, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board. The cottage has two separate bedrooms, a generously sized double and a twin with full-size single beds, both supplied with continental-style bed linen and towels. A family bathroom with a bath, electric shower over, hand basin and WC completes the interior. Outside, a large garden provides space for children to play, while the spacious patio area is ideal for al fresco dining, with a table, chairs, relaxer chairs and cushions, an ideal spot to watch sheep grazing or enjoy a spectacular sunset with a glass of wine.

We are only 10 minutes from the medieval hill town of Rye & historic Tenterden. Both places have antique shops, art galleries, museums, restaurants and a country pub. Closer to home, enjoy a meal at the Ferry Inn which is just a mile away or the Black Lion which 3 miles away. Enjoy the sandy beaches at Camber which is a 15-minute drive or visit the RSPB bird sanctuaries. Further attractions to visit include:
