Briggs Cottage accommodates 2 guests and has recently undergone a complete high-spec refurbishment. It features a first-floor double en-suite bedroom, with open-plan living space on the ground floor.

The Loft comfortably sleeps up to 4 people and serves as an ideal base for exploring Arran. The main bed-sitting room, kitchen and shower room are situated on the first floor, while a utility room with a washing machine is located on the ground floor. Outside, guests can enjoy a small patio area with a picnic table.

In Blackwaterfoot, you'll find a well-stocked shop and post office, a butcher, the renowned Shiskine 12-hole golf course, a putting green, tennis courts, and Fairway's cafe (seasonal opening hours) featuring a terrace overlooking the sea, serving coffee, cakes, and light lunches. The Kinloch Hotel also offers hospitality in the village.

Numerous scenic walks await nearby, including a route to King's Cave encompassing beaches, forests and mountain views, as well as a moorland trail to the enigmatic stone circles at Machrie. Pony trekking opportunities are also available in Blackwaterfoot.

Arran's diverse wildlife includes majestic golden eagles soaring above, seals lounging on the rocks, deer roaming freely, playful sea otters in the water, diving gannets, and sunbathing cormorants. Dolphins and porpoises frequently visit the area. Known as 'Scotland in miniature,' the Isle of Arran boasts wild mountains in the north and gentle hills in the south, all within easy reach on this compact island spanning just twenty miles in length.
