Daviot Lodge is a rural retreat surrounded by woodland located just outside the town of Beauly, Inverness. The lodge provides pet friendly self catering accommodation in a Scandinavian design that is very well equipped.
The living area is spacious, with dining area and lounge equipped with TV, DVD player and radio/CD player. A feature of the lounge is our wood burning stove and a picture window to enjoy the abundant bird life in the birch woods. Logs for the stove are supplied.
Adjacent to the living area is a well equipped kitchen, with cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine/tumble drier and dishwasher.
The main bedroom has a double bed and the second bedroom two single beds, with both having double built in wardrobes and dressing tables.
The bathroom has a spacious bath and shower.
On our doorstep is Glen Affric, recently designated a National Nature Reserve, and also Glens Cannich and Strathfarrar. Areas of breathtaking beauty, they provide access to the wild and more remote areas of Scotland. Wildlife abounds within the remnants of the ancient Caledonian Pine Forest, red deer, golden eagle, badger, pine marten, otter and many more.
This unique area of Scotland is the ideal destination for those seeking a holiday with a difference. Whether you wish to climb Munros, ramble or cycle on miles of forest track, fish for salmon and trout on river and loch, or simply relax and take in the magical surroundings we have it all here.
