Apple Cottage provides superb self catering accommodation just a leisurely wander from Lyndhurst’s charming high street in Hampshire. We are close to scenic open forest paths and a great base for exploring The New Forest.

Our elegantly refurbished Victorian cottage is brimming with light and comes with quality furnishings fixtures, offering a tranquil and relaxing place to stay. The cottage sleeps 6 people and is in the ideal location for discovering the area.

A cosy and modern lounge is great for relaxing in after a day in the countryside. There is comfy seating, a flat screen TV with Freeview, Amazon Prime and Netflix. A Bluetooth speaker is great for music lovers. In the winter months, a toasty wood burning stove will keep you warm. Cook up a storm in the well-equipped kitchen which has a full-sized fridge freezer, integrated oven and electric hob, dishwasher, coffee machine, microwave toaster, kettle and iron. Relax around the dining table over a good meal, with seating available for six people.

Three beautiful bedrooms are available: a king room, a ground floor king room and a twin room. All the rooms share a newly fitted bathroom which has waterfall taps, a heated towel rail and a full sized bath with powerful dual level shower heads above.

Outside there is a fully enclosed garden for children to play in or for your four-legged friends to run around in. The sunny patio is great for a drink or two on a warm, summer’s evening. A lockable store comes with bikes and fishing gear.

Lyndhurst is a wonderful village to explore and has a little something for everyone. There is a range of pubs, restaurants, tearooms, pubs and independent shops. The hamlets of Bank, Emery Down and Swan Green are accessible by car and have some delightful pubs to enjoy. Great attractions to visit include The New Forest Centre which is home to The New Forest Museum, Gift Shop, Reference Library and Visitor Information Centre. Brilliant attractions to visit include:
