Our inn has belonged to the same family for over 250 years and is an enchanting place, steeped in history and rustic charm.

We have 27 guest rooms at our New Forest inn, each of which has been tastefully decorated and furnished to provide a relaxing haven. Whichever room you stay in, you’ll also have a sterling en suite bathroom, flat screen TV, hospitality tray, hairdryer, trouser press and direct dial telephone. Free wireless internet access is available in our bar and lounge areas. Rooms include our Classic, Forest, Estate & Manor options.

Allowing dogs into The Bell is all part and parcel of being situated in the New Forest. We understand that dogs are part of the family and as such many owners like to take their dog with them on holiday rather than having to leave them behind in a boarding kennel. For a small charge of £10 for 1 night or £15 for more than 1 night, per dog, we have a limited number of ground floor rooms which are suitable for dogs. Please be assured that our bedrooms are cleaned to a very high standard so if you’re not a dog person you won’t even know there’s been one in the room! The New Forest is the ideal destination for both dogs and their owners with so many lovely walks available from the doorstep of our hotel, so don’t leave man’s best friend at home, bring him along for the holiday too!

Visitors to the inn can enjoy traditional British dishes with a modern twist. We use fresh, seasonal produce sourced from the New Forest wherever possible and it is coked by our award-winning chef who has a great passion for serving delicious food. Whether you join us for celebrations, meetings, private dining or afternoon tea - The Bell Inn New Forest will cater for your every need. For all our favourite regulars who enjoy our regular favourites, just fill in all your details on the form, hand it over to reception and we will give you a VIP Card entitling you to 10% OFF food and drink each time you visit.

We are a popular destination for golfers as we can offer guests the opportunity to play our 2 widely admired and very scenic golf courses at Bramshaw’s Manor and Forest courses which are next to the inn. We offer tee times from 9.30am for morning golfers and from 13.30pm for afternoon golfers on each of our courses, and you can even have your own secured locker to store your clubs and the facility to charge your power caddy battery overnight (£3.00 per night charge and a £10 refundable deposit). After your round of golf, you can be assured that Dinner will be a wonderful experience too. Guests staying on our golfing packages will dine from the 'a la carte Menu’; with a £25 allowance for the meal (parties over 6 will have a 3-course golfer’s menu).

The New Forest has many fantastic walks that all can enjoy, many of which start from the front door of the inn. So if you do choose to bring your beloved companion, you can be sure of having plenty of places to explore that you can both enjoy.
