Y Don is a three-bedroom cottage that provides everything needed for the perfect self-catering holiday. It is available for short breaks and weekly lets throughout the year. The cottage is situated on the road leading down to the stunning Black Rock Sands, where visitors can build sandcastles, swim, or take a leisurely walk along the long stretch of golden sands.

The living room is a delightful space, both cosy and relaxing, with a wood-burning stove to keep warm on cold winter days and nights. A Smart TV offers free movie downloads with a wide selection to choose from and there is also a DVD player and WiFi for entertainment.

The bespoke fitted kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hob, toaster, kettle, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher, along with an iron and ironing board. Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining area features an extending table with seating for eight, a bookcase filled with local information and a selection of games for the whole family, as well as magazines and local guidebooks. A separate utility room houses a washing machine, tumble dryer, sink and shower, making it a convenient space for drying outdoor clothing.

The master bedroom features a king-size bed, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers, along with an ensuite shower room. The second bedroom is a twin room with a wardrobe and chest of drawers, while the third bedroom offers a zip-link super king-size bed that can be converted into two singles, along with a chest of drawers. The cottage includes a family bathroom with a separate bath and shower, in addition to the ensuite in the master bedroom.

Guests can enjoy a range of complimentary facilities, including a hot tub with underwater northern lighting, a summer house and a beautiful patio area with luxury furniture. Wireless internet access is available throughout the cottage, along with Smart TVs and Firesticks in both televisions. Additional conveniences include local information and leaflets, a hairdryer in the master bedroom, an outdoor tap and a boot scraper, ensuring guests have everything they need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We can also provide a cot and highchair upon request.

Located on the coast between Porthmadog and Criccieth, Y Don is ideally situated for exploring Snowdonia National Park and the Llŷn Peninsula. The Black Rock Beach Club is a beachside dog friendly bar/restaurant and is a 4 minute walk away and Porthmadog Golf Club is a 10 minute walk away. Week long bookings are Friday to Friday. Short breaks are also available Friday to Monday or Monday to Friday. Prices start from £525 for a short break.
