Details
No. 5 presents itself as an inviting traditional stone cottage, situated on one of the most quintessential streets in the charming market town of Winchcombe, nestled in the heart of the North Cotswolds. Once a pathway leading to the vineyards of the monks of Winchcombe Abbey, this cottage has undergone a meticulous renovation to ensure a high standard of comfort and style.
Step inside to discover a welcoming sitting room adorned with character features, boasting exposed Cotswold stone walls, flagstone floors and rustic beams. Sink into one of the comfortable sofas nestled around the stone fireplace, where a flat-screen TV and DVD player await. A farmhouse table with seating for four sets the scene for intimate gatherings, enhanced by ambient lighting for cosy evenings.
The fully equipped kitchen offers modern convenience with a dishwasher, cooker, fridge and washing machine, catering to all culinary needs. Adjacent, the sunroom beckons, leading to a secure south-facing rear garden complete with a patio area and shed for bicycle storage.
Upstairs, two double bedrooms await, adorned with quality bed linen, ample hanging/storage space and chests of drawers for added convenience. The shower room, with its walk-in cubicle, also features a wash basin and WC.
Your comfort is our priority; therefore, bed linen, towels, electricity, hand soap and tea towels are all included in the price, with a cot available upon request.
