Nutley Edge Cottages offers outstanding self-catering accommodation in Uckfield, East Sussex. Nestled in a glorious countryside location, the cottages enjoy wonderful views of Ashdown Forest.

The Old Farmhouse: This beautiful property dates to the 17th Century and maintains many original features whilst offering modern accommodation. The farmhouse still has the original exposed brickwork and an inglenook fireplace with a log burner. There is also a contemporary kitchen with a large fridge and freezer, coffee machine, dishwasher and all cooking equipment. Upstairs are four beautifully furnished bedrooms, two with en suite bathrooms and an added family bathroom. The beds are all zip and link so can be made into super king or twins. Facilities include a 52’’ smart TV and DVD/Blue-Ray player. There is a designated garden exclusively for the farmhouse or you can enjoy the games lawn, fire pit area on any of our paddocks. Mews Cottages: Our five charming mews-style cottages sleep up to four people in each. Beds are zip and link so can be made into super king or twins. All the cottages are tastefully furnished with an open plan lounge/diner and a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine, electric cooker, induction hob, microwave, 60/40 fridge freezer. The lounge has a TV, DVD player, two sofas and coffee table. The walk –in wet room features, toilet, basin and shower. Free guest WI-FI. Each cottage has their own decking area with garden furniture overlooking our lovely paddocks.

Traditional Cottages: These gorgeous timber-clad traditional cottages each comes with their own terrace area with seating overlooking our paddocks and gill wood. Perfect for an afternoon tipple whilst the sun is shining. The spacious lounge/diner comes with comfy sofas, a flat screen TV and DVD player. A well equipped kitchen comes with a range of excellent appliances to suit all your needs. Both bedrooms are on the first floor and the bathroom is located on the ground floor with a bath and overhead shower. Free guest Wi-Fi.

Courtyard Cottages: Our two courtyard cottages each sleep up to four guests and have upstairs bedrooms which can be made into twins or doubles. There is an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge and a wet room with a power shower on the ground floor. Facilities include a flat screen TV/DVD player. Free guest Wi-Fi. Each cottage has its own garden area with garden furniture.

Wheelchair accessible cottages: Our two cottages have a single bedroom downstairs with an electric fully height adjustable carers bed and a large bedroom upstairs that can be made up as super king or twin. Open plan lounge, diner, kitchen. Small under counter fridge with ice box. Walk in wet room with electric shower and grab rails.

The Willows glamping – Our exclusive glamping area has two 5 metre bell tents, kitchen area, fire pit, compostable toilet and further up the site two luxury toilet and shower units.

We are a great base to explore a range of attractions in the local area including Eastbourne and Brighton seafronts, national trust homes and gardens, Drusilla’s zoo’s, fishing lakes, vineyards and golf facilities.
