Overdale Cottage is a charming and cosy semi-detached, pet-friendly retreat located on the main street of the picturesque village of Harome, just three miles from the market town of Helmsley and the North York Moors National Park. Once the owners' home with great sentimental value, the cottage has been recently refurbished to comfortably accommodate 4 guests and their pets. Tastefully decorated and thoughtfully furnished, Overdale Cottage offers a welcoming home-away-from-home atmosphere, perfect for a relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The sitting room comes with a stone hearth and open fire, leather settee, Ekornes Stressless Voyage chairs, TV and DVD player. This is the perfect place to relax and unwind with friends or family. The country style kitchen comes with solid beech worktops. Excellent appliances include a dishwasher, washing machine, under counter fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster, oven and electric hob. You can savour glorious views of the back garden from here. The dining room comes with an oak topped table and a two seater leather settee. Downstairs there is a WC and washbasin.

Upstairs there are two lovely bedrooms which boast views of the rolling countryside. There is a master bedroom with a king size bed and a cosy twin with two single beds. The family bathroom comes with a Grohe over bath shower.

Outside there is a spacious fenced garden. This is ideal for doggy games and exercises. Patio furniture is provided. An ideal place for a morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.

The cottage is well located for exploring the stunning Yorkshire moorlands and countryside to the North. It is a 40 minute drive to the historic city of York with its stunning Minster, a variety of beautiful shops and of course the famous Betty’s Tearooms, many cafes and shops. Lots of attractions are nearby, including:
