With 13 en suite bedrooms available to choose from, guests have a choice of where to stay. For an unforgettable experience spend the night in one of our suites in a four poster bed under the thatched roof of The Hoops Inn. Perfect for a romantic weekend or just getting away from the hectic pace of everyday life.

The Hoops Inn has a well deserved reputation for fine food and drink and we are constantly working to develop and even improve on the fare we offer to our customers. We endeavour to use high quality local produce, such as locally reared meat, locally caught fish and locally produced cheese and beer (to name but a few examples) wherever possible.

Horns Cross is a tiny hamlet, straddling the boundary between the parishes of Alwington and Parkham, branching out from the cross roads on the A39 Atlantic Highway perfectly positioned midway between Bideford and the famous fishing village of Clovelly. To the north lies the Atlantic Heritage Coast with spectacular views over Bideford Bay, to the south lies acres upon acres of farmland and unspoilt countryside, the landscape changing with the seasons. The Hoops Inn is surrounded by magnificent unspoilt countryside and is in walking distance of the rugged North Devon coast. Countryside pursuits are our speciality and we can offer you different routes to explore.

Set on the Atlantic Highway (A39), this romantic oasis is easy to find and the perfect base for both relaxation and recreation. The picturesque village of Clovelly, the jewel of the West Country, is a short drive or a delightful coastal walk from The Hoops, while Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks are within easy reach.you are seeking the authentic flavor of the West Country then look no further.
