Greenhills Holiday Park is located just a short walk from the picturesque Derbyshire town of Bakewell, ideally positioned among the rolling slopes of the lower Wye Valley. It serves as an excellent base for exploring the many attractions in and around Bakewell, offering visitors both natural beauty and convenient access to the town.

Set across 33 acres of beautiful countryside, the park accommodates 140 hardstanding touring pitches, each with a 16-amp electrical hook-up, along with 45 tent pitches in separate camping fields. Every pitch offers uninterrupted views of the surrounding countryside, with natural shelter provided by mixed woodland on either side of the park. Due to the layout of the park, we can only accept touring units up to 8 metres in length and are unable to accommodate American or other oversized motorhomes, particularly those with push-out sides.

Facilities at Greenhills include two heated toilet and shower blocks, a launderette, Elsan disposal points and two children’s play areas. The licensed clubhouse serves a selection of local real ales and draught beers, creating a relaxed social space for guests. Food vans are also on-site every weekend, offering a variety of tasty options.

For those seeking a more self-contained option, the park also offers three centrally located static caravans for hire. Positioned next to each other and close to the park’s amenities, these caravans feature central heating, double glazing and full insulation, making them comfortable for year-round stays. Each includes a large double bedroom, a twin room, a full bathroom with shower and an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area with comfortable seating and included crockery. Outside, guests can enjoy a private area with a picnic bench. Pets are welcome in all hire caravans.

The park also features a lovely three-acre dog walk and nature trail on-site, where guests are asked to keep pets under control and clean up after them.
