Middle Farm Holiday Cottages near Taddington offers lovely self catering accommodation, based in a peaceful setting. Our two cottages are only 10 minutes from Buxton and Bakewell, and in the ideal location for exploring Derbyshire.

Our two cottages, Maigold (sleeps 4) and Albertine (sleeps 8), have been tastefully renovated to suit all your needs. The spacious cottages are well-equipped, include ample parking and boast stunning Peak District views. Both cottages share laundrette facilities.

Maigold:

This delightful, south-facing cottage offers gorgeous countryside views, great for a relaxing rural getaway. The cottage maintains lots of original features whilst offering modern accommodation. Inside there is a large lounge with a beamed ceiling, TV, piano, DVD player and traditional log-burning stove for those chilly days. A spacious farm-style kitchen is well-equipped with a hob, oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher.

Bedrooms consist of a double room with exposed roof trusses and a door to the patio area. A further twin room has a beamed ceiling. Both rooms share a bathroom and a shower room. Outside there is a patio with garden furniture and BBQ for al fresco dining.

Albertine:

Our charming cottage is great for families or groups, offering 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The cottage maintains lots of original features and excellent facilities. Cook up a storm in the fully-equipped that comes with a hob, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. A dining area offers views across the farmyard. Unwind in the glass-fronted lounge which has a TV/DVD player and enjoys valley views.

On the ground floor that are 2 double rooms and 2 twin rooms. Upstairs there are 2 double rooms that can have en suite facilities by limiting access from corridor areas. A bathroom and shower room are upstairs, whilst a separate shower room is on the ground floor. Outside there seating and BBQ, offering a great spot for a glass of wine whilst savouring the spectacular views.

The local area has lots of brilliant activities to enjoy, including rock climbing, caving, horse riding, gliding, fishing, mountain biking, golf and swimming. We are close to Monsal Dale with its renowned trail, whilst Chatsworth and Haddon Hall are within easy reach. Excellent attractions to visit include:
