Darwin Forest Country Park offers self catering accommodation in a range of lodges located in Two Dales near Matlock in Derbyshire.

We have 137 luxury lodges available, set against the gorgeous backdrop of a 47-acre woodland haven. All our lodges sleep 2 to 8 people, with each lodge enjoying a woodland or parkland view. You can enjoy a spot of al fresco dining outside on the veranda which has garden furniture. We also have pet friendly lodges and some which have hot tubs to unwind in.

Our fabulous standard lodges are categorised as either Classic Skyline, Classic Vogue or Elite Vogue Lodges. We also have four exclusive developments which offer the very best in lodge accommodation and are called the Glade Exclusive Spa, Spinney Exclusive Spa, Spinney Spa, Coppice Spa and Meadow Spa lodges.

Each lodge is beautifully furnished and comes with a range of facilities to suit all your needs. Unwind in the cosy living area which comfy sofas and a dining area. The fully equipped kitchens have a conventional cooker, microwave oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment and an assortment of crockery and cooking utensils. Facilities include a flat screen television with Freeview, DVD and CD player

Woodlands Cottage is also available and is a stone holiday cottage that offers its own private garden, hot tub and sun terrace. The spacious holiday cottage offers two king size bedrooms and two twin bedrooms. There are two bathrooms both with free standing showers. The living area offers comfortable seating, a TV with Freeview and a DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need and there is also a dining room table and chairs.

Darwin Forest Country Park offers a range of activities including Evolution Health & Fitness. This includes a swimming pool, spa, gymnasium, steam room, sauna and there are also beauty therapy treatments available as well as a massage suite.

There is a play centre onsite called Little Monkeys that provides fun and entertainment for younger children.

Foresters bar and restaurant offers the chance for you to have a break from cooking, with a varied menu there is something for everyone. There is a takeaway menu available if you would rather dine in your beautiful lodge.

Our woodland walks and trails provide enjoyable walks or you can test your skills on the orienteering course and take on the challenge of the Trim Trak. You can enjoy a game of tennis, hire a cycle and tour the area, take in a round of mini-golf or spend time on our adventure playground, pool tables and games room. The options are endless.

If you want to leave the site and explore the area there are plenty of things to do such as visit stately homes like Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall or visit one of the many theme parks one of them being Alton Towers which has some of the best thrill rides in the country. Darwin Forest Country Park has bikes for hire so you can also go and explore the many cycling routes or if you like walking there are many hiking trails and paths in the area for you to explore.
