Meadow Holiday Cottage offers self catering accommodation just 6 miles from the quaint market town of Ashbourne. Our cottage in Derbyshire is in the ideal location for exploring the area and only 4 miles from Alton Towers theme park.

Our cottage is tastefully furnished and comes with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. A cosy living room comes with seating, a toasty log burner and a formal dining area which takes advantage of the amazing countryside views. Facilities include a smart TV, all radio/CD player, DVD player and superfast Wi-Fi. Cook up a storm in the spacious kitchen which has a 4-point electric hob, fridge freezer, washing machine and in-formal breakfast table.

Three attractive bedrooms are available. The main bedroom has a double bed and the second has two singles which can be combined to form a double. The third bedroom has two full-sized single beds. The second and third bedroom are accessed via two small steps the rest of the cottage is on one level so easy access for a wheelchair use.

Outside there is a new patio area with garden furniture and a coal BBQ for al fresco dining when the sun is shining.

Ashbourne is a small, pretty market town of great character set in the heart of the Derbyshire Dales, great for a relaxing holiday. Derbyshire is the perfect playground for walkers, cyclists, nature lovers and adrenaline seekers. If you are looking for active adventure there is a huge range to choose from including walking, cycling, climbing, water sports, paragliding, plus many activity centres where you can have a taster session or an active break.
