Ghyll Head Pod Village offers charming accommodation near Windermere. We are perfect for an idyllic getaway in The Lake District.

Based in our quiet woodland, we have 9 heated pods available. Our pods are a perfect alternative to the traditional camping experience, suitable for families, couples or small groups of friends. 2, 3 and 5 berth PODs available and 2 of our pods are pet friendly.

The pods offer basic facilities, including single beds with mattresses, under-bed heating, 2 plug sockets and 2 x 5v USB charging points, LED lighting and lockable doors. Please bring your own bedding/utensils/cooking equipment.

Outside each pod, there is a seating/picnic area, great for a coffee in the morning.

Onsite there are toilet and shower facilities, plus a heated Kitchen area with fridge and microwave. We also have The Buzz, a community room which offers a lovely space for reading a book or playing board games.

Only 3 miles from us is Bowness-on-Windermere, home to restaurants, bars and shops. You can visit Lake Windermere, perfect for beautiful walking and cycling routes.
