The Cumberland Inn can be found in Alston; a pretty Cumbrian town nestled within the North Pennines – a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. As well as offering pet friendly rooms, we also have a pub that is open to all.

All are welcome at our inn; we have rooms to accommodate solo travellers, couples, friends and families. Each room includes:

Alston is a small Cumbrian town, set within the unique landscape of the Pennine Hills. Surrounding the town is Alston Moor, a beautiful and diverse area known for its rare alpine flora and moorland birds such as black and red grouse, lapwing, meadow pipit and merlin. You will never be short of photo opportunities and beautiful locations to explore.
