Fursdon Farm Camping & Caravanning is a family-run hideaway, situated on the edge of Bodmin Moor. Our campsite near Merrymeet offers facilities for campers, tourers and glampers, perfect for a holiday in Cornwall.

Our hideaway site offers 5 acres of grounds in a peaceful rural setting. We have 2 camping and caravanning areas, with both Merrymeet and Rosecraddoc fields offing a range of hard standings or grass pitches, plus electric or non-electric hook ups. The fields each come with toilets and showers, as well as a dishwashing area. Merrymeet also has a book library and a selection for table games, plus a laundry facility with a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The Merrymeet Field enjoys glorious views toward Caradon Hill and also contains our shepherd hut and camping pods. The Rosecraddoc Field is on a gentle south-facing slope offering fantastic views across stunning pasture land and the moors around Carafon Hill.

The site has drinking water points and separate grey water and chemical toilet disposal points. We can also provide storage for caravan and motorhomes.

We offer a touch of luxury in our 3 brand-new pods and shepherd huts, offering the perfect alternative to the traditional camping experience. The pods offer comfy accommodation and country views. We have 2 end entry pods (The Hurlers) and (South Cardon) and 1 side entry pod (Golitha) that is more spacious. We also have 1 dog friendly pod. The pods all include a range of facilities, including a double bed with dreams memory foam mattress, single chair bed, indoor seating and table, 5ltr min fridge, wall mounted heat and kettle, plus much more. Outside there is a seating and a table, great for a coffee in the morning sun.

Our shepherds hut, Brian’s Hut, is dog friendly and perfect for a romantic break in the country. A toasty wood burner will keep you toasty in the winter months and facilities include a foldout double bed, indoor seating/table, kettle, 5ltr mini fridge and outside shelter table, chairs and BBQ slate for al fresco dining.
