Pencuke Farm Holiday Cottages in St Gennys offers outstanding self catering accommodation in an array of luxurious cottages. Nestled on a small farm near Bude in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, we are ideal for an unforgettable holiday in Cornwall.

The Dutch Barn – Sleeps 8: Our stunning barn has been beautifully converted to offer accommodation for up to 8 people. The striking original steel frame and shape of the original barn still exists, whilst sustainability is at the heart of the design, with hot water and electrical facilities powered by solar power or through our biomass boiler. All four bedrooms are on the first floor and come with modern en suite bathrooms. Three bathrooms have a bath with an overhead power shower and the fourth bathroom has a bath and large walk-in shower. You can relax and unwind in the open plan L-shaped living area which comes with an impressive, vaulted ceiling. The main room has seating or 10, a large sofa, 48’’ smart TV, Blue-ray DVD player, XBOX one, B&W Speaker, iPod Dock, wood-burning stove and two sets of fully opening bi-fold doors. You can cook up a storm in the kitchen which has a large range cooker, microwave, dishwasher, American style fridge freezer and ice maker. Outside there is a wonderful 40-foot-long terrace with a BBQ, large dining table, raised grassed, cushioned seating and jacuzzi hot tub. From the terrace, you can savour glorious views across the farm to the Atlantic Ocean.

Skyber Barn – Sleeps 6: This magnificent barn dates from the 19th Century and has been recently converted to offer stylish and modern accommodation. Superb features included exposed stones walls and a lovely oak framed window. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms: 1 king en suite, 1 king and 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds. There is a separate family bathroom with a bath and overhead rain shower. Downstairs there is a utility room and hallway which leads to a spacious open plan lounge/dining/kitchen area. The fully equipped kitchen has a quality Neff oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, integrated fridge/freezer and washing machine. A tumble dryer is in a separate building. The lounge and dining areas have delightful oak flooring and there is a larger table that seats 8. Facilities include a smart TV, DVD player, Xbox 360 and an electric feature fireplace. Skyber Barn has use of a large, shared lawn area near to the cottage, as well as a great BBQ terrace with seating to enjoy the breathtaking views from.

Darzona – Sleeps 3: Our charming barn conversion is great for a romantic getaway or a couple with a baby. The barn is light, spacious and comes with a fantastic bedroom with lovely oak framed windows. The super-king size bed is perfect for resting your head on at night and downstairs there is a shower room with a WC. The cosy living room boasts natural slate flooring, an electric real fire effect wood burner, a smart TV with freesat, a Blu-ray DVD player and iPod dock. The spacious kitchen comes with a dishwasher, American fridge/freezer, washing machine, oven, ceramic hob, Nespresso machine and microwave. Outside there are a couple of chairs and a shared grassed area with a washing line. Guests may also use the shared recreation area and BBQ terrace.

Penkenna Shepherds Hut - Sleeps 4. Penkenna, named after the cliffs beside Crackington Haven beach, is our spacious Shepherd's Hut, complete with a hot tub for a luxurious glamping experience. It offers a well-equipped kitchen, a shower room, a king-size bed suitable for two adults, and overhead bunks for two children. The flexible dining/lounge area surpasses the luxury of many holiday cottages, enhanced by the expansive outdoor space and breathtaking views of the coastline in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Enjoy the four-person Jacuzzi hot tub, perfect for relaxing while soaking in the picturesque views, watching the sunset, or stargazing. The hut features ultra-fast broadband and power sockets equipped with USB outlets for charging devices. Eco-friendly amenities include underfloor heating and hot water, both supplied by a biomass boiler, ensuring a warm stay, continuous hot water and a powerful shower.

Cambeak Shepherd's Hut - Sleeps 2. Named after the cliff to the left of Crackington Haven beach, Cambeak is our bespoke Shepherd's Hut designed for two. The dining area features two plush velvet chairs and offers stunning views across the valley to the sea, often dotted with grazing alpacas or sheep. For added ambiance, there's a bio-ethanol stove. The open plan also includes a raised double bed, accessible by a step (note: this may be unsuitable for those with mobility challenges). This bed provides excellent views through the French doors, making it an ideal spot to unwind. The hut is equipped with ultra-fast Wi-Fi and Sky glass TV. Storage drawers and space for luggage are cleverly built under the bed. The kitchen is well-equipped with a sink, fridge, microwave/grill, toaster, kettle and a portable induction hob. The bathroom exudes luxury with beautiful tiling, a spacious shower, sink, shaver socket, and a fully plumbed toilet. Outside, there's a large fenced garden that opens directly onto farmland, offering spectacular sea views. A decked area with an outdoor dining set and a hot tub for two extends from the hut. Additional relaxed seating around a firepit and BBQ makes this an exceptional spot for watching sunsets and stargazing, thanks to the low light pollution in the area.

All guests of the cottage and barns have use of the games room with has a pool table, table football and boules court. Guests are welcome to explore our 19 acres of grounds, home to our alpacas, sheep and chickens.
