The Forge is a beautifully renovated, pet-friendly, stone-built cottage, brimming with character. It’s accessed via a gently sloping, well-lit woodland path from the parking area, approximately 50 metres away. A trolley is available to help carry your belongings, groceries, or even your dog if needed!

Inside, the cosy living room features a wood burner, with logs and kindling ready for warm, snug evenings. There’s a Smart TV with full internet access, a Bluetooth speaker, a comfortable dining area and plush seating, including a sofa and a swivel armchair. If you’re working remotely, you’ll have access to high-speed broadband and a gate-leg table that doubles as a desk when required.

Double French doors open from the living area onto a wooden deck, creating a delightful indoor-outdoor flow. The fully updated kitchen includes Denby kitchenware, a dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, fan oven, halogen hob and a Lavazza coffee machine with compostable pods. Whether you’re preparing a Sunday roast or enjoying pizza by the fire, the kitchen is equipped for all your culinary needs. And when you need a night off, we’re happy to provide meals from our freezer.

The bedroom is a cosy mezzanine “nest” accessed by a spiral staircase through sheer voile curtains. The bed, fitted with a deep mattress topper, can be arranged as a super king-size or two singles to suit your preference. Luxurious, soft bed linens, duvet covers and pillowcases from The White Company and Secret Linen ensure restful sleep, with electric blankets for added warmth on cool evenings.

The modern bathroom, fully tiled and fitted with a walk-in Mira shower, provides an abundance of hot water. It also features a handmade, Japanese-style dipping tub, offering a unique, deeply relaxing bathing experience. With plenty of plush White Company towels, heated towel rails and candlelit window sills, it’s the ideal space for some well-deserved “me-time.”

Outside, the wooden deck with ambient lighting overlooks a private, enclosed garden that’s perfect for dogs and ideal for bird-watching, stargazing, or simply breathing in the fresh air. Beyond the garden, guests can explore expansive grounds, including a meadow, stream and woodland paths, perfect for strolling with or without your four-legged companion. We also have a field available which has an off lead exercise area for your dog. You’ll find a tranquil living willow dome by the stream, a perfect spot for sitting, lying, or meditating.

Located in Southern Ceredigion, just minutes from the stunning West Wales coastline, we offer easy access to secluded coves, sandy beaches and the scenic Ceredigion Coast Path. The nearby Preseli Mountains, home to the stones of Stonehenge, add to the breathtaking views across Cardigan Bay and the Irish Sea, where seals and dolphins are often spotted. Steeped in Celtic history, the area is rich with ancient woodlands, historic sites and local delights like cheese makers, gin distilleries and smokehouses, with plenty of adventure options nearby.
