Troedyrhiw Holiday Cottages are a collection of 5-star holiday homes on the West Coast of Wales. Our accommodation has been tastefully decorated and furnished throughout, ensuring guests and their dogs have a place to stay that feels like a home away from home.
Former farm buildings have been transformed into five immaculate cottages. Set around their own courtyard, at the end of a private lane, they provide the perfect place for those who want a break away from the grind of day to day living. Whether you are a couple, friends, family or one person and their dog, we look forward to welcoming you.
The Coach House: A one bedroomed holiday cottage that can sleep up to 2 people. It has a fully equipped kitchen area and a wood-burning stove. The double bedroom has an en suite with a bath and shower over. Outside is a large deck area with seating and views of the fields, stream and woods.
Gorse Cottage: Suitable for couples and families, this cosy cottage has two bedrooms and sleeps up to 3 people. The master bedroom has a double bed and the second room has a single bed. Fully equipped throughout, it has a galley type kitchen, sitting/dining room with wood burner and bathroom with bath and shower over.
Oak Cottage: Sleeping up to 4, Oak Cottage provides comfortable and well-appointed accommodation for the whole family. There are two bedrooms; a master bedroom with a double bed and a second room with two single beds. The cottage has a comfortable sitting room, spacious dining/kitchen and bathroom with bath & shower over.
The Stables: One of our larger cottages, The Stables can sleep up to 6 people, perfect for families and friends. Two of the bedrooms have double beds and the third bedroom has a set of full-size bunk beds. In addition to a comfortable sitting area and well-equipped kitchen, there are French doors that open on to a large area of decking which overlooks the fields, stream and woods.
The Granary: Our largest cottage, it sleeps up to8 people bad has been beautifully finished throughout. From the comfortable sitting room to the well-equipped dining/kitchen, it includes everything you need for an enjoyable stay. The master bedroom has an en suite shower room, with rainwater shower in a matki encloser whilst the main bathroom has a bath with a rainwater shower over. All bedrooms are made ready for your arrival and comprise of a master bedroom with double bed, ground floor double room, a single bedroom and triple room with 3 single beds.
In our little corner of Ceredigion, and just a stone’s throw from Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire, you’ll find some of the finest landscapes in Wales. Local towns and villages such as Cardigan, Newcastle Emlyn and Aberaeron are well known for their links to medieval Wales centuries ago and remain very much unspoilt, retaining their essence of Welshness. Whilst you are here, you can spend relaxing days visiting the abbey at St Dogmaels, The Welsh Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran, Cenarth Falls, stunning blue flag and dog friendly beaches with coast walks which you may even share with seals and dolphins as companions, breathtaking mountain walks in the Preselis, home of the bluestones used to create Stonehenge, market towns boasting eclectic and unique shops, and many more attractions, depending on your interests.
Troedyrhiw itself lies at the very bottom of Ceredigion, close to the edge of the Pembrokeshire National Park, and the Ceredigion Heritage Coast. We are only 4 miles from Cardigan, famed for the fact that the newly restored castle.
