Caio itself lies in the picturesque Annell Valley, an area rich in local history. Easily accessible and signposted, it is situated just over a mile off the main A482 road connecting Llandovery and Lampeter. The inn is near several National Trust sites and the University town of Lampeter is around ten miles away. Llandovery, located on the A40 trunk road, is also ten miles distant, while Carmarthen lies approximately 28 miles to the south.
