Wainsford Riverside Cottages offers outstanding self self catering accommodation near Liskeard. We are based in the perfect Cornish location for game fishing and offer accommodation in 3 charming cottages and a shepherd's hut, all nestled in gorgeous grounds.

Our accommodation is in a glorious setting, perfect for an idyllic getaway. We also have The Barn, home to the Rod Room, dog washing facilities and a communal lounge. There are lots of grounds and parkland for your four-legged friends to stretch their legs, from our 2.5 acre meadow to our 7.5-acre ancient woodland.

Parr Cottage - Sleeps 5/6: Our delightful first-floor cottage has a beamed open plan living/dining room with a stove. A well-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances and a stable door leads to the delightful courtyard. A ground master en suite room has garden access through patio doors, plus 2 further bedrooms: a twin and a single plus a cabin bed. The latter two bedrooms share a family bathroom.

Loveny Cottage - Sleeps 6: Our biggest cottage boasts splendid views over the garden, parkland and lake from the living room. Patio doors open onto the enclosed garden. A well-equipped kitchen/diner will suit all your needs and a hallway is great for storing coats and boots. Bedrooms consist of 3 twin bedrooms and a family bathroom. The master bedroom has en suite facilities.

Peal Cottage – Sleeps 6: This fabulous cottage comes with a ground-floor open plan living room with a vaulted ceiling and dining area. A fully equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances to suit all your needs. The master bedroom comes with en suite facilities and on the first floor there are two further bedrooms (a twin room and one with bunk beds), plus a family bathroom.

Waters Meet - Sleeps 2. This Shepherd's Hut is nestled at the confluence of two rivers: the Fowey and the Warleggan. Guests can relish direct access to the diverse waters of the Fowey for swimming or fishing in the renowned Dirty Water pool, known for its Salmon and Sea Trout. The hut offers complete privacy, situated amidst a backdrop of a tranquil lake and expansive 19 acres of parkland and woodland. The hut itself features an en suite bathroom with underfloor heating, a wood stove for cosy evenings, and exclusive access to your own private hot tub.

Wainsford is positioned 5-miles from the tide, a brilliant holding reach for sea trout and salmon fresh from the sea. Wainsford enjoys some 1.45km of mixed single and dual bank Salmon and Sea Trout fishing, primarily on the River Fowey. Where the rods fishing are from different parties, a daily rota will be employed. Fishing is charged as an extra.
