Balure Cottage stands as a picturesque south-facing retreat, where the splendours of the setting sun are simply unmatched. Stepping out of the front door, a short stroll leads you to the confluence of the River Awe and Loch Etive, offering an expansive sense of freedom and connection with nature. Located just a stone's throw from Inverawe Fisheries, guests have the unique opportunity to engage in superb fly-fishing, with the convenience of fishing at your preferred times while benefiting from special ‘cottage fishing’ rates. Additionally, the Sithaeg Café and Bar, offers a delightful range of bar meals including Inverawe smoked products.

Upon entering the cottage through the storm porch, you're welcomed into a central hallway, leading to a generously sized open-plan living and dining area and further into the well-appointed kitchen. The kitchen radiates warmth and charm, thanks in part to the traditional log-burning stove, with an initial supply of chopped wood provided to ensure a cosy start to your stay. The kitchen comes fully equipped, featuring a cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster, along with all necessary crockery, cutlery, glasses and cooking utensils. An attached outhouse offers additional amenities, including a washing machine, dryer and a freezer for extra convenience.

The twin-bedded room, bright and welcoming, boasts dual windows that frame the breathtaking views of the open countryside, promising a serene awakening. The cottage also features a well-fitted shower room, complete with a shower, toilet, washbasin and an electric towel rail, ensuring comfort and convenience.

Electricity costs are additional and charged based on usage.

Outside, the enclosed garden features a picnic bench, perfect for outdoor meals or simply soaking in the peaceful ambiance of this special location.
