Ferintosh offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Dumfries. The Guest House is a very attractive red sandstone Victorian building resting peacefully in a quiet residential part of the historic and beautiful town of Dumfries, Scotland. Ferintosh is opposite Dumfries Railway Station and a 5 minute walk from the town centre. There is ample parking nearby.

Ferintosh Guest House has 5 bedrooms with a mix of Twin, Doubles and a Family Suite with ensuite and a single room with private facilities. Ferintosh blends the comfort, charm and beauty of a traditional Bed & Breakfast with outstanding customer service, and environmentally friendly business practices.

In the guest house, you will find a wide variety of magazines, books and guides to the area including information on Dumfries, Robert Burns, local Burnsian history, walking, cycling, fishing, and golf. Walkers and cyclists are most welcome and we have facilities for their needs. As are fisherman and golfers.

We are dog friendly. Dogs are allowed to stay in the rooms with the guests, but must not ever be left unattended in the room, unless special arrangements are made.

We have poop bags, towels to dry wet/muddy dogs, and umbrellas for guests use. We also have spare leads, water bowls & food bowls available for your use should you need to borrow them.

There is a great tree lined place to walk dogs right across the road from the Guest House – There are also hundreds of great walks in the surrounding area.

We have never had a dog steal towels, cutlery, or pictures off the walls. We have never had to evict a dog in the middle of the night for being drunk and disorderly. No dog has ever smoked in our rooms and no dog has ever run out on their bill...
