In lovely countryside, less than two miles from the town, we offer self-catering holiday homes sensitively converted from ancient farm buildings.
The Old Stables:
This substantial Grade II listed stable-block dates from the 17th century. It is built of the local golden-coloured stone and was converted in 2001-2 to provide a top quality holiday home. The stables are suitable for a guest requiring wheelchair access. There is a south/east facing garden and parking for two cars. It has a VisitBritain four star rating.
Every effort has been made to keep the original features while modern comforts have been added. Throughout, there are many ancient beams and timbers.
On the ground floor there is the main living room divided into kitchen/sitting and dining areas. There is also a bedroom on this floor with a magnificent king-sized four-poster bed, and a bathroom next door.
