We are a friendly family run holiday park set within the Lizard Peninsular overlooking Kennack Sands. We welcome and accept touring caravans, motor-homes, tents, camper vans, trailer tents, folding campers of all sizes. We have a number of areas designated away from our 2 and 3 bedroom static caravans and 2 bedroom chalets.
Chy Carne is a spacious well kept, clean safe park with level camping and touring pitchs with 54 electric hookups available spread over a large area with each pitch a minimum of 10m wide with some upto 14m, many of our pitches have wonderful views over Kennack Bay.
Our static caravans are situated away from our touring area and are available with either 2 or 3 bedrooms, our chalets are 2 bedroom and are located in centrally in the tree-lined, sheltered main grounds. The house is Georgian dating from around 1810, it was built for the Woodward of the time, the man overseeing the woods on the Pickering estate. The house is bordered on one side by a limestone outcropping and is built from this local stone – and we mean local! The quarrying remains for the stone can still be seen in the mesmeric grotto-in-the-trees adjacent to the house.
Just two first floor rooms - so we can offer excellent service. Fresh flowers greet you, in hospitality corner there is a silent running fridge for your use for beverages, wine etc. - just ask for ice and glasses.
