We have 2 fully equipped self catering holiday caravans for rent at Oldshoremore Beach, just 5 mins drive from Kinlochbervie village centre. Our Oldshoremore caravan site has 2 private sites, each 5 minutes walk from the beach, and both have great views looking down over the beach and out to sea.
Holiday Caravan 1
The caravan is at the top of our croft, and as we are part-time crofters with a flock of sheep to look after, we are sometimes around. There are 2 holiday homes on the opposite side of the road from the caravan, and one holiday home on the same side. While we try our best not to disturb our visitors, unfortunately we cannot guarantee that the holiday makers in the other houses will do so!

HILLSIDE House is a beautiful building dating from the 1790s, though parts of it are much older. According to local tradition it was once a dairy, and the oldest part may date from as early as the 1400s. It is listed (Grade II) as a building of historical interest. The building has been used as a bed and breakfast since the 1940s.
It was home to Thomas Geen a mason and sea merchant from 1833 to 1863. He led the revolt against harbour tolls imposed by the Lord of the Manor. His son Charles was born here in 1840. Charles was the founder of the Electric Light Company in 1890. Artist and headmaster of the Barnstaple School of Art, Theodore Charbonnier lived here with his family from 1899-1920. The building has been used as a bed and breakfast since the 1940s.
