We are off the beaten track and set within the peaceful grounds of the farm, which has two large ponds and we overlook the stunning countryside. Wauchope Cottages are a small group of four detached, single storey timber clad holiday cottages set in the Scottish Borders on the edge of Wauchope Forest. The village of Bonchester Bridge is 2 miles from the cottages and Hawick and Jedburgh are approximately 8 miles from Bonchester Bridge.
The village has a very friendly Public House – The Horse and Hounds.
We are well situated to visit many main towns with Edinburgh, Newcastle and Carlisle just over an hour and 20 minutes away. The east coast is about an hour and a half away.
The cottages all have fully enclosed rear gardens and ample parking spaces. Dogs are most welcome but must not be left unattended.
As well as the enclosed rear gardens there is a large lawned area in front of the cottages for your use. Ideal for playing badminton, football, training your dogs, etc.
