Robert Blake's Suffolk Holidays in Dallinghoo offers wonderful self catering accommodation. Nestled in a gorgeous rural setting overlooking fields, we are perfect for an idyllic getaway. We are only 4 miles from Woodbridge and a great base for exploring Suffolk.

The Cottage: Our glorious 16th Century thatched house is brimming with character and boasts outstanding rural views. The house sleeps 6 people and is beautifully furnished throughout. On the ground floor, there is a well-equipped kitchen, cosy west-facing sunroom, elegant dining room and cosy sitting room with an open fire. Upstairs there are 2 double rooms and 1 twin room which share a family bathroom and a downstairs shower room. Outside there is a large garden with garden furniture and a BBQ for al fresco when the sun is shining.

The Carpenter’s Shop: This fabulous barn conversion offers a modern feel and luxury accommodation for up to 5 people. Inside the barn there is a lovely blend of antique and modern furniture, plus a range of excellent facilities. A spacious open-plan living space is great for relaxing in after a day in the countryside and includes a toasty wood burner. A separate kitchen/diner is great for home-dining and there is a ground floor bedroom and bathroom.

On the first floor, there is a master en suite room and a sofa bed on the gallery. Outside there is a private garden with garden furniture and a BBQ, offering a great space for a glass of wine in the afternoon sun.

Wheelwrights: Our superb property sits on the site of a 19th Century wheelwright’s workshop. The property has been beautifully converted to sleep 2 plus persons (a double sofa bed in the living room) and comes with high-quality facilities. A large living room is great for socialising in and the adjoining kitchen is well-equipped. Downstairs there is also a shower room. On the first floor there is a double en suite bedroom. Outside there is a garden terrace with garden furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining over a few glasses of wine.

We are close to the delightful market town of Woodbridge, home to charming shops, great pubs and delicious restaurants. The town lies on the picturesque River Deben and is only 8 miles from the coast. Frequent markets are held on the market hill and the National Trust’s Sutton Hoo offers amazing archaeological discoveries. Excellent attractions to visit include:
