A charming Self Catering Holiday Cottage available for bookings on the Mendips, ideally situated close to the Historic City of Bath, Wells Cathedral, Chew Valley, Cheddar Gorge and the Royal Bath and West Showground.

COMBE COTTAGE - a 17th Century oak beamed cottage, with open log fires and cooking on an Aga... in a quiet unspoilt part of Somerset, tucked away in the Mendip Hills.

The cottage stands on its own in beautiful gardens with extensive views over the hills. It boasts its own woodlands and nature conservation valley, where you are free to roam, and children can play.

It is situated between the two villages of Holcombe and Stoke St Michael, both within a short walking distance, offering two pubs, and small country restaurant, along with the village store for provisions.

The area is full of interesting places to visit, all within an easy drive, the steam Railway of East Cranmore is five minutes away, and the City of Wells with its Cathedral and quaint shops. Glastonbury and the Tor are nearby for a mystical day out. The Georgian City of Bath is 20 minutes drive.

The master bedroom has a double bed with en suite with shower, wc and basin. Bedroom two has a double bed ( and cot available if requested ).

Bedroom three has a kingsize bed, and its own washing facilities. Bedroom four offers a twin bedded room.

There is also a bathroom with bath, separate shower, wc and basin.

An additional wc and washbasin are situated in a downstairs cloak room.

The oak beamed Morning Room features the dining area, with country pine table and open log inglenook fireplace.

The lounge consists of a television, DVD player and Video with surround sound for your enjoyment.

The patio windows open on to a patio with family size teak table , chairs and BBQ. Flood lights to the garden for those longer evenings.
