The Sir Henry Sidney Apartment is a beautiful self catering apartment set within the walls of Ludlow Castle and in the centre of the beautiful market town of Ludlow, Shropshire. Being ideally situated on the first floor of Castle House, this impressive pet friendly apartment boasts tranquil views over the castle’s outer bailey towards Whitcliffe, widely known as a local beauty spot.

The apartment has a cosy sitting room/dining room, with leaded windows overlooking the tranquil grounds. There is also a flat screen TV with integral DVD player/free Sky channels, a DAB CD hi-fi system and free Wi-Fi. There are two twin bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms and the beds in the master bedroom can be linked to form a king size bed. The kitchen is large and fully fitted with all appliances and all essential utensils.

On arrival you will find fresh local breads, eggs, milk, tea and coffee, a small hamper from our award winning Deli on The Square (cheeses, butter, jam, marmalade and biscuits - all local produce) and a bottle of white wine, chilling in the fridge, and a bottle of red wine resting in the kitchen.

Ludlow Castle is at the heart of the fine medieval market town of Ludlow and guests can wander the many attractive side streets and discover Ludlow at your leisure or take the opportunity to relax in one of a fine range of tearooms or local pubs. Dogs will love exploring the acres of mature private grounds with castle walks right on the doorstep.

On the outskirts of Ludlow, you will find a leisure centre, golf course, racecourse and the beautiful Marches countryside. The soft rolling hills are ideal for walking, cycling, nature trails, fishing and shooting. A short trip by car will bring you to the Welsh border, only eight miles from Ludlow. Within an hour you can also drive to the World Heritage site at Ironbridge Gorge.
