Overdale Cottage is a beautiful stone built 17th Century cottage which is situated in an idyllic position down a short farm track on the edge of the peaceful hamlet of Burtersett, just a mile away from the market town of Hawes.

The cottage sleeps 6 (plus a baby or toddler in the travel cot) in 3 bedrooms. There are 2 double bedrooms and one adult sized bunk bedroom. The large bathroom includes a shower over the bath and there is a second separate WC. Downstairs there is a large sitting room, with a multi burner stove, a kitchen diner and a large boot room which houses the freezer and washing machine and is the ideal place for walking boots. The kitchen is well equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. There is Broadband connection and a Smart TV with Netflix & Amazon Prime. The holiday cottage enjoys oil fired central heating which is included in the price along with coal for the multi-burner stove.

There is an attached barn with a large games room and there is also a garage where bikes can be stored.

Overdale is the ideal location for visiting the attractions of Wensleydale (e.g. Aysgarth Falls, The Hawes Creamery, Semerwater, Bolton Castle) and beyond (The 3 peaks and The Lakes). There is off road parking and an enclosed garden which is ideal for children and dogs. Both are very welcome. Please note this a no smoking cottage. The Pennine Way and The Dales way are close by but there are many other walks that can be enjoyed directly from the cottage.
