Windy Gap provides guests with a rare opportunity to stay in a beautiful 100-year-old wooden bungalow that is set in a rural part of Merseyside, in 6 acres of private woodland within the Ainsdale Nature Reserve near Southport.

Our holiday home consists of:

Spacious living room, with sofas and dining table (seating for eight), Open fire (wood provided) and television.

Covered veranda, with folding glass doors and a set of table and chairs.

Large well equipped kitchen with a folding dining table that can comfortably seat 8, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, an oven/grill and an inverter/oven/grill.

4 bedrooms (1 zip together king size bed and 3 twin rooms. Cots are available on request.

Bathroom with washbasin, w.c., shower over bath and separate shower cubicle Additional w.c., plus outside w.c.

Outside of the holiday home is plenty of space to explore and enjoy being in a beautiful natural environment. For those who fancy it we also have our own private tennis court.

At Windy Gap you can enjoy walks and cycle rides through the nature reserve from the door. Southport provides traditional seaside activities, whilst Liverpool, with its world-class museums and galleries, is only a 40-minute train ride away. Golf enthusiasts will be spoilt for choice, with six links courses within 15 miles.
