The Highdown Inn is a traditional country pub located at Totland on the Isle of Wight. We offer a friendly bar, tea rooms and bed and breakfast accommodation.

The guest bedrooms all have tea & coffee making facilities, towels & dressing gowns, a hairdryer and TV. WiFi is also available in all the rooms. We have two double rooms, both with their own ensuite and one twin room with a separate bathroom.

Our friendly bar offers blackboard specials for you to choose from and you can eat in the bar or in our restaurant. We are well known for our shellfish and seafood dishes. We also offer an extensive list of wine, beer or real ale.

Our Tennyson Tea Rooms are open all day. There is a varied selection of loose teas to choose from as well as some scrumptious treats. We have Cream Teas and High Tea as well which includes sandwiches, plain or fruit scones, cakes, cream and homemade preserves.

The Highdown Inn is just a few minutes drive from Alum Bay and the famous Needles to the West, the breathtaking views of Freshwater Bay just a mile to the East and Colwell Bay and the historic town of Freshwater only a mile to the North.

We welcome walkers and cyclists so feel free to come in and soak up the atmosphere or you may prefer to relax in our garden or patio area whilst enjoying a drink or a meal, the choice is yours.

We are also ideally situated for walkers, ramblers, cyclists and campers to call in for a well earned rest being on the coastal footpaths and public footpaths from Freshwater Bay, Headon Warren and Alum Bay. Within easy walking distance of the beaches and shops of Totland Bay and the historic Needles Old battery.
