York Lodge is set in a pretty and peaceful garden at the edge of Nether Wallop in Hampshire. Our modern and charming self catering accommodation is situated in its own self contained wing and is ideal for those who are looking for a relaxing retreat away. We are only a 10 minute drive from Stockbridge and a 15 minute drive to the centre of Andover.

There is an en-suite double bedroom and the living room has a fully equipped kitchenette, TV and comfy sofa. There is a second double en-suite bedroom available by special arrangement.

Outside there is a secure garden.

We are centrally situated for visiting many historic and famous places and are a perfect base for exploring Southern England. Nether Wallop was the location for the TV Agatha Christie Miss Marple Series. The cathedral cities of Salisbury and Winchester are within easy reach and the popular Stonehenge is only a 20 minute drive away.

We are in the middle of the Test Valley and there are beautiful walks nearby, taking from half an hour to all day!

Stockbridge, once famous for its local race course attended by the then Prince of Wales and Lillie Langtry, but now famous for the River Test trout fishing, tantalising antique and gift shops, art galleries, its tea room and old pubs is only a 10 minute drive away.

Salisbury has both a multi-screen cinema and the Playhouse Theatre.

Your dogs are very welcome and can stay without charge. You have full use of an extensive garden, which is fenced in, so they cannot wander.
