Details

Llyn Retreats is nestled in a totally unspoilt part of Wales, in the Llyn Peninsula. Our aim is to provide guests with a home away from home as well as being in an ideal location from which to explore Gwynedd. We are just a short walk from the safe sandy beach at Penllech and Porth Colmon, at Llangwnadl near Phllheli.

We have 2 pet friendly holiday homes available, both of which are comfortably furnished to ensure guests have an enjoyable place to stay. They both enjoy there own private enclosed gardens with sea views and have the added benefit of barbeque areas and seating to enjoy the great outdoors. The peace is a real bonus to these properties and you can really hear the silence even in the middle of the school holidays when everywhere else is noisy and chaotic you can come home and escape to the peace and tranquillity of Llyn Retreats.

The Coachhouse – This was part of the original whitewashed farm cottage and is a centuries old building. We have furnished it in a simple style using a mixture of antiques and more modern furniture but all with comfort and style in mind. The property is double glazed, centrally heated and with the added feature of a cast iron wood burner to provide that true country living style and that combined with the real wool throws and cosy lighting make this a wonderful place for relaxing and enjoying each others company. We have provided books, magazines & games for entertainment. The property has two bedrooms – one double and a twin again furnished simply but with everything you would need for a comfortable stay.

The Lodge – This is a cosy property and has the best of the views towards Holy Island on Anglesey and the lighthouse on South Stack. Both of these are well worth a day visit. The dining room, lounge and kitchen are all open plan so families can play together round the dining table while watching the large flat screen T.V. The Lodge sleeps 5 in 2 double bedrooms and a single all with fitted furniture.

The little-known, totally unspoilt Lleyn Peninsula with its diverse countryside of rolling hills, mountains and woods, surrounded by an ever-varied coastline of craggy cliffs, little coves, shingle, and long stretches of sand; and the magnificent Snowdonia National Park, with its breathtaking scenery, mountains, castles, lakes, unforgettable sunsets and much more besides! Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula: the perfect holiday combination!
