As dog friendly hotels in the Cotswolds go, we regard ourselves as one of the best. If not just for our incredible location but for allowing them to sit and enjoy a drink and snack in front of our open fire.

We are proud to be the only dog friendly hotel in the wonderful village of Amberley, just three miles outside Stroud, twenty minutes to Cirencester and Cheltenham and just half an hour or so to beautiful Bath. Surrounded by fantastic walks and common land, we think it would be a real pity to leave your four-legged chum at home. Your dog is welcome to join you for breakfast, lunch and dinner in our lounge bar. All we ask is that you respect your neighbours and your dog can vouch for your good behaviour - we've never had a dog drink too much and lose their room key.

Reservations for our dog friendly hotel in the Cotswolds must be made in advance as some rooms are kept allergy free. We charge a one off fee for pets of £10 per stay.

You and your canine companion can step out of our front doors onto our little piece of Cotswold bliss, Minchinhampton and Rodborough Commons. We have stunning views across the Golden Valley of Stroud, stretching as far as the Severn River and even Wales on a clear day. The 1000 acres of open grassland owned by the National Trust are enough to keep most dogs busy.

All our thirteen rooms have en suite facilities and are as individual as the Inn itself.
