The Old Stables is a tasteful barn conversion, built in Cotswold stone. The cottage is grade II listed, with ornimental tallet steps, exposed beams and pine wood doors, situated in the shadow of a grade II listed manor house. The charming two-storey building has a beautiful, fully equipped kitchen with dining area and a spacious sitting room.

On the first floor are two bright and comfortable double bedrooms and a modern bathroom. Patio doors from the sitting room open on to a large private garden with views over the open countryside. Today Cirencester, capital of the Cotswolds is a lively market town, but it’s origins lie during the Roman times when it became the second most important town in Britain. The remains of the Roman occupation can be seen in the amphitheatre and defensive walls, situated in the Abbey grounds. The finds and an exceptional collection of mosaics can be viewed in the newly refurbished Corinium museum.
